3CD Firework Poems

As part of their English topic, the children in Year Three wrote some amazing firework poems. Have a read of some of their fantastic work here! 

Wood Green

This week, Year Three have been lucky enough to have a virtual visit from Wood Green, The Animal Charity! This links into last half term's science and English topics. 

They learned a lot about caring for pets of all kinds, from dogs to degus. They learned about the Five Welfare Needs of animals: Home, Diet, Normal Behaviour, Companionship and Vet Care, and thought carefully about the feelings of each animal.

Digital Art

The children in Year Three enjoyed creating their own digital Lowry art picture as part of their art topic. They had to chose their background and then add the buildings and people. Look how great they look! 

Parts of a Flower

This half term, Year Three have been learning about plants. There have been some great examples of their learning. Some students have taken their learning one step further and found a real plant to investigate!
