Instructions
In English this week, we have been looking at instruction writing; how they are written and what makes a good set of instructions. As part of this, we followed a recipe for making a witch's sandwich. This was the outcome:
We are not sure that it looks particularly appetising, but it was an interesting recipe to follow. It would be great if the families of Year Three could have a look at other instructions at home. Perhaps they could even follow a recipe which creates something delicious!

Sasha enjoyed doing this at school and would like to make a slimy 'sandwich' at home today. Yesterday she did an experiment with various drinks, it smelt good but I didn't want to taste it!
