3CD Firework Poems

The children in 3CD have been inspired by the fireworks they have seen and written some fantastic firework shape poems.  The poems include similes, adjectives, descriptive vocabulary and onomatopoeia. Welcome to Year Three 2016 - 2017

Welcome to the new school year from all the Year Three team!
Year Three had a great week settling into the Junior School.  They have enjoyed getting to know their new class, their teachers and the adults who work in the unit / school.  They have been very enthusiastic in all the activities they have completed.
We are all looking forward to an exciting year ahead!

Year Three Residential Visit to Burwell House

Many of the children in Year Three thoroughly enjoyed their three days at Burwell House. The children enjoyed learning how to map read, use a compass, make 'smelly cocktails', create a natural sculpture using a range of materials and taking part in some blindfolded activities. As well as all the fun activities, the children enjoyed lots of delicious food and developed their teamwork / communication skills.
